Bionix 2 Series

The Bionix (BX) is a family of tracked Singaporean armoured fighting vehicles developed by Singapore Technologies Kinetics intended to augment the Singapore Army's aging M113 armoured personnel carriers, it is the first indigenous armoured vehicle to be developed in Southeast Asia. Shown here, the 30mm Bushmaster auto-cannon and the 40/50 variant, sporting the CIS 40mm automatic grenade launcher and CIS .50 heavy machine gun.

M113 ULTRA Series

Originally an M113A1, the M113 ULTRA was upgraded to that of A2 standard and modernized by ST Kinetics with a locally-built gun-turret cupola-mounted CIS 40mm AGL (Automatic Grenade Launcher) and CIS 0.5-inch HMG (Heavy Machine Gun) twin-type weapon station or the Israeli Rafael Overhead Weapon Station with the US M242 Bushmaster 25 mm auto-cannon. Additional floatation devices and side skirts were added making the ULTRA a unique addition to the M113 family
The M113A2 Ultra Mechanised Igla which is a variant of the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) fielded by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). It has been in service since the early 2000s. The M113A2 Ultra Mechanised Igla is armed with six ready-to-fire Soviet Igla surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) and is configured for the role of short-range air defense (SHORAD). It is also known as the M113A2 Ultra Mechanised Igla Surface-to-Air Missile Integrated Firing Unit (IFU).

AMX-13 SM1

When the Singapore Armed Forces were formed in 1966, the SAF obtained the AMX-13, to equip its armoured forces. By the 1980s, they were upgraded. The AMX-13's firepower would remain unaltered, however the chassis received a major overhaul, the engine replaced by a more fuel-efficient 290 hp water-cooled, turbocharged Detroit Diesel 6V-53T. The transmission was modified for full automation, hydro-pneumatic suspension were added, increasing the top speed was improved to 64 km/h on road. The turret also received a laser-rangefinder as well as night-vision capability.

Leopard 2SG

In 2006, 96  Leopard 2A4s were ordered and taken delivery to Singapore to replace the aging AMX-13SM1. Modernisation works started in 2010, with upgrade package taken from IBD Deisenroth Engineering, opting for the Advanced Modular Armour Protection Kit (AMAP). Further upgrades in 2016 included better Fire Control System and a new Commander Thermal Camera system.

Terrex ICV

The Terrex Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV) is an armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) developed by ST Engineering of Singapore and Timoney Technology of Ireland, and produced by ST Engineering Land Systems. With a mass of approximately 25 to 30 tonnes and the vehicle is built on an 8x8 wheeler chassis with modern military vehicle armour. The model here depicts a Remote Weapons Station armed with a CIS 50 heavy machine gun.

V200 Series

The V-200 was essentially an enlarged version of the V-100 designed to the specifications of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and entered service in 1968. The army replaced the V200 in 2015 with the Peacekeeper Protected Response Vehicle (PRV).

Fifty V-200s were operated by the Republic of Singapore Air Force for on-base security and equipped with Swedish-manufactured RBS 70 surface to air missiles in a turret mount.

Bronco ATTC

The Bronco All Terrain Tracked Carrier is a twin chassis multi-purpose tracked articulated vehicle jointly developed by ST Kinetics and the Defence Science & Technology Agency for the Singapore Army. It is designed to traverse difficult terrain with heavy-duty seamless rubber tracks and a running gear system for soft ground conditions. With minimal preparations, it can achieve a swimming speed of 5 km/h.

AMX10 PAC 90

The AMX-10 PAC 90 is a dedicated fire support and anti-tank variant of the AMX-10P infantry fighting vehicle designed to operate alongside the main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. At the time of its introduction it was capable of taking anti-tank combat being armed with a 90mm cannon and a coaxial 7.62 machinegun with a crew of 4.

MAN 5 Tonner Light Transporter

The 5 TON MAN TRUCK 16.284 LAERC GS0 twin-axle, 4x4 cargo truck is the lifeline of the Singapore army, providing troops transport to their destination as well as logistical supply runs.

Army Trooper Series

Seen here are the backbone of the Singapore armed forces. The boots on the ground that provide homeland security. 2 different sets are offered here, the first set, depicting a typical infantry section, with the troopers holding 2X SAR-21, 2X Ultimax Section Support Weapon (SAW), 2 X Matador Gunners and one SAR-21 underslung with CIS 40mm grenade launcher. The second set depicts an RBS-70 Trooper and a commander from the RSAF Air Defence Group.

GDF-001 35mm Oerlikon Gun

The last line of defence, the 35MM Oerlikon had been protecting the skies of Singapore for 40 years, since the 1970s. The Oerlikon 35 mm twin cannon is a towed anti-aircraft gun made by Oerlikon Contraves. Using twin autocannons, it fires a rate of fire of 1100 rounds per minute

Bergepanzer 3 Buffel Armored Recovery Vehicle

The Buffel is fitted with a crane, winch and front-mounted dozer. The main mission of the Buffel is the recovery of damaged, overturned and stucked vehicles. It also provides maintenance service or tows them to maintenance units. This variant is specially modified to the SAF standards,  with different hatch and payload configurations which are closer to the Bergepanzer 3A1 used in Afganistan.

Light Strike Vehicle MK2

The LSV MK. II is produced by ST Kinetics as the Spider New Generation Light Strike Vehicle (Spider New Gen). Used by the Singapore guards formation the primary role of the LSV MK. II is against armoured threats. It is designed to be helicopter portable and manoeuvrable over cross-country terrain.

Hunter AFV

The Hunter Armoured Fighting Vehicle is a tracked Singaporean armoured fighting vehicle jointly developed by ST Engineering, Defence Science and Technology Agency, and the Singapore Army. Intended to replace the Singapore Army's aging Ultra M113 armoured personnel carriers, it was commissioned in 2019. It is the Singapore Army's and the world's first fully digitalised platform.

Belrex PCSV

The Belrex Protected Combat Support Vehicle (PCSV) was developed by ST Kinetics and Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) to replace 5t trucks and Mercedes Benz MB290 armoured vehicles operated by the Singapore Army.


Based on the Marauder mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle platform, developed by South African firm Paramount Group, the PCSV was designed to offer enhanced fire power, survivability and situational awareness for the Singapore Armed Forces’ motorised infantry units on the battlefield.

The M728 Combat Engineer Vehicle (CEV) is a full-tracked vehicle used for breaching, obstacle removal, and pioneering operations. The vehicle is armed with a 165mm M135 short-barreled demolition gun with 30 rounds of HEP (high explosive, plastic) ammunition. Eight M728s formerly in service with the Singapore Army were retired in 2016, having been replaced by the Leopard 2-based AEV 3 Kodiak armoured engineer vehicle (AEV).

Hunter ARV

The Hunter Recovery Vehicle (HRV) is an armoured recovery vehicle variant of the Hunter platform, which was commissioned by the Singapore Army on 18 February 2022. The HRV is operated by a crew of three that includes a vehicle commander, a driver, and an automotive specialist technician. The vehicle’s primary equipment is a telescopic knuckle boom crane that can be traversed through a full 360° and a recovery winch with a stated maximum pull of 25,500 kg. When performing a recovery or winching operation with heavy loads, the HRV deploys a front-mounted dozer-like blade as well as a pair of outriggers at its rear to stabilise itself.

The Bionix Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) is a variant of the Bionix Infantry Fighting Vehicle Range, which was developed by Singapore Technologies Automotives (now Singapore Technologies Engineering). The ARV is fitted with a 25t winch and 30t crane.
